Benjamin Steven DeLeonibus, passed away November 23, 2024, at home, in the arms of his mother and father.
Ben was born on March 1, 2023, to Marina and Steven DeLeonibus in Jacksonville, FL. He and his family were stationed in Hawaii for a short period of time before moving to Maryland to be surrounded by loved ones.
Ben was a great snuggler and loved being held by his family and friends. Ben loved traveling, going to Navy football games and meeting new friends. He was showered in love by his big sisters, they loved holding him and he loved them. Despite his short time here on earth, he was loved beyond measure and brought immense joy to all those around him.
Bens family includes, his loving parents, CDR Steve and Marina DeLeonibus and his sweet sisters, Grace (age 7) and Mia (age 4). He is also survived by his grandparents, Angelo and Julie DeLeonibus, of Crownsville, MD and grandparents, Ernest and Deborah Rubbo, of Harrisburg, PA. In addition, he is survived by five uncles, three aunts, seven cousins, and one great-grandmother.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 9:30 am at the United States Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, MD. The burial will be private at the Naval Academy Cemetery.
