Benedict J. Allison, 69, of Severna Park, died Nov. 2 at Johns Hopkins Hospital of complications of a stroke.Born Oct. 16, 1935, and raised in Baltimore, Mr. Allison and served in the Navy and in the Army from 1953 to 1965.He was the president and owner of Monitor Security and Control Systems Inc.Surviving are his wife, Ute G. Allison; two daughters, Demara Rice of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Tracey Loyd of Prince Frederick; one son, Damon Denton of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Irene Elane of Baltimore; and six grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial will be private.Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 635 W. Lexington St., Baltimore, MD 21201, or the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.
