Barbara Ann Sasse, 90, of Jefferson, Massachusetts and Severna Park, Maryland passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026. She leaves behind a loving son, Michael J Sasse, and daughter-in-law, Angela Sasse of Severna Park, a sister, Jackie Zamora of Florida, and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert “Hub” Sasse who passed away in 2016 and her daughter Robin (Sasse) Bruce who passed away in 2007.

Barbara was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and lived most of her life in Jefferson. She graduated from Holden High School in 1953 where she met Hub, the love of her life. They shared a wonderful life together, building a home on North Main Street in Jefferson, where they raised two children.

Barbara worked as an administrative assistant at the formerly named Norton Company, now Saint-Gobain, in Worcester. She enjoyed spending time on the Cape and travelling with Hub. After being snowbirds between Massachusetts and Florida for many years, they began to split their time between Maryland and Florida in 2013. For the last 10 years, Barbara has been an extremely well-cared-for resident of Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Severna Park, Maryland.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .

A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at the family home in Severna Park. Interment is planned for a later date in Massachusetts at the Worcester Memorial Park in Paxton.
