Barbara Rey
Barbara Lee Rey, 69, of Annapolis, died June 28 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Rey was born April 6, 1937, in Laurel, was reared in the Govans area of Baltimore and graduated from Towson Catholic High School in 1955. She lived in Wheaton for 35 years, and worked for the former Bell Atlantic Telephone Co. from 1967 to 1994.
She enjoyed her family, photography and traveling.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Charles F. Rey; two sons, Michael Rey of Ellicott City and David Rey of Annapolis; her parents, Lester and Eileen Bartholomew of Towson; one brother, John Bartholomew of Timonium; one sister, Deborah Evans of Elkton; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 tonight at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway, near Cape St. Claire. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville.
