Barbara Wilson Ellis was born in Washington D.C. on 22 February 1943, husband Richard James Ellis, father V. Henry Wilson, mother Edna Heathcote Wilson, brother William Henry Wilson and dear friend Joanne Flood, sons James William Ellis and Jesse Wilson Ellis, daughter-in-law Madeline Fain Ellis, grandsons Maximo Henry Ellis, Bram Wilson Ellis, Levi Fain Ellis.

Barbara worked for Farmers National Bank and First Virginia Bank, retired from them in 1994. She worked for Anne Arundel County Public Schools as an Early Child Intervention Teacher Aid, retired in 2007.

Barbara loved to travel/paint/sing/spend time with her grandchildren. She loved her family and friends dearly. Barbara will be greatly missed by all, who knew her.

Family and friends may visit from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Oak Cemetery in Mitchellville, MD.
