Audrey Ellen Netterstrom, age 68, past peacefully in her sleep on January 22, 2015. She was born in East Rainelle, West Virginia, the 4th of nine daughters. She moved to Washington D.C. where she began working as a receptionist and was married to Bobby Greenway. Their marriage resulted in 3 daughters. The union ended in divorce. She remarried in 1985 to James Netterstrom. In her professional career she rose to the position of general manager and became a intricate part of building a successful business. The couple has resided in Arnold, MD since 1987.
She was an avid reader, antique collector and loved to cook and visit the beach. Her mashed potato recipe is considered a family heirloom.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cordie Maxine Moore Fox. father, Cecil Ray Fox, sister, Doris Partain and sister Freda Partain.
She is survived by her husband, James Netterstrom, daughters, Wanda Davis, Donna Greenway, Deborah Shoffler, grandsons, K.C. and Colby Shoffler, and step children, David Netterstrom, Paul Netterstrom and Karen Dooley. She is also survived by sisters, Carol Wheeler, Mary Tundo, Mildred Hughes, Patricia Earp, Crystal Lewis and Terry Fitzpatrick. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to blood relatives she always considered Michael Polino, Alissa Polino and Samuel Polino as part of her extended family.
Friends may visit on Wednesday January 28, 2015 from 10:00am-12noon at the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park, MD 21146. A Service will be held in the funeral home chapel after the viewing at 12:00pm.
A reception will be held following the service at Bill Batemen's Bistro 566 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.
