Armin Victorio Ramallosa passed away with his family by his side on November 19, 2023.
He was born on October 16, 1975 to Arthur Ramallosa and Luzviminda (nee Victorio) Ramallosa in the Philippines. He lived in the Philippines: in Dimasalang, Blumentritt, Manila and BF Homes, Paranaque before coming to the United States where he lived in Annapolis, MD before settling with his family in Arnold, MD.
He attended Espiritu Santo Parochial School, Lyceum of the Philippines University and Anne Arundel Community College, Annapolis, MD.
His distinguished career included 4 years in the Naval military service aboard the USS George Washington (CVN 73), along with his service in the Emergency Dispatch in the Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD. He spent more than 20 years in the Federal government, worked as a Senior Personnel Security Specialist at the Department of Homeland Security, at the White House, and for the Drug Enforcement Administration.
He was an INCREDIBLE HUMAN BEING, perfect, selfless husband, amazing Dad, wonderful son, great brother, sweet son/brother-in-law, cool uncle/"tito", kind hearted nephew, awesome, funny cousin, genuine friend, and a good, hardworking colleague/coworker. He touched so many people's lives and had a huge impact to his family and friends because of his strength/resilience, positivity, pure heart, kind soul, and just his overall impressive character as a MAN. He had so many great qualities to mention but sure thing he had a great sense of humor. He was such an inspiration!
His hobbies and interests were lottery, sing karaoke, dance, play NBA games in PlayStation, liked reading the news , enjoys being a handyman, mechanic, and was an expert with cars, computer, gadgets, electronics. He loved to ski and pretty good at it, used to bike, swim, played well in basketball, great in pickleball, master in table tennis. He was a natural born athlete. There were no dull moments with him and his family, they were inseparable! He loved taking them to the beach, shopping mall, good restaurants and try delicious food, did so many adventures such as snorkeling, hiking, loved to run, go on movie dates - "Rom-coms" (He was a hopeless romantic) and a fan of Marvel movies, loved watching tv series with his wife and daughter. He was such a great cook/master griller, personal softball coach and private teacher to his daughter in all aspects of life.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Maria Ramallosa and their daughter Carmina Ramallosa of Arnold, MD. Also, his parents Arthur and Luzviminda Ramallosa, his brothers/sisters-in-law/nieces/nephew: Arlu/Luzviminda/Julia (New York)/Elaine/Sarah/ Adrian; Arvi/Patricia Ramallosa, all from Annapolis MD; his sister/brother-in-law/niece/nephews: Luth Anne/Shaun/Gianna/Grayson/Garrett Sadowski of Fairfax VA. His father-in-law/nephew from the Philippines: Antonio/Antoine Vince de Leon; sister-in-law/nieces/nephew:
Catherine/Alya, Miryam, Canaan Nowilaty of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; and sister/brother-in-law/nephews: Cherry/Gerard/Richard/Carl Herras of Muscat, Oman.
He will be missed but his legacy and his kind spirit will live on forever. He is in God's kingdom of heaven, in a better place and wrapped around the comforting arms and loving hands of Our Father Almighty.
Family and friends may visit on Monday November 27th from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park MD 21146. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12pm the following day, Tuesday November 28th at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park MD, 21146. Burial will follow the mass at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd Crownsville MD, 21032.
