Due to the storm the family has rescheduled the Memorial service from this Monday October 29 at St. Andrews By the Bay church. To Saturday November 3, 2012 at 10:00am in The Barranco & Sons Funeral Home Chapel.

Antoinetta (Netta) DiTullio Mascaro, 97, a resident of Arnold since 1986, died October 17 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Netta was born on June 13, 1915 in Chambersville, PA to the late Delores and Vincent DiTullio. Netta grew up in Bridgeport PA, and after marriage, Netta operated a grocery store in Norristown PA with her husband Tony in the 40s through the 60s, she later worked in the meat and deli department of Genuardis for many years, and for some time after moving to Maryland, Netta worked as a seamstress in the Annapolis area.

Netta enjoyed cooking and baking, knitting, crocheting, sewing and quilting, reading, listening to books on tape, playing cards, watching food and craft shows and spending time with her family.

Netta was preceded in death by her husband Tony who died December 25, 1975, one brother Joe and six sisters, Carrie, Libby, Angie, Dorothy, Peggy, Josie, and her son James who died in 2008, her son in law James who died in 2006 and her grandson David who died in 1992, and her granddaughter Mariah who died in 1999.

Netta is survived by her sister Ginny, two sons, Anthony Mascaro and his wife Ceder of Tucson AZ, Fran Mascaro and his wife Diana of Collegeville, PA; two daughters, Anita Robertson and her husband Dave of Long Beach CA, and Phyllis Clancy of Arnold; grandchildren, Gina and Steve Shaw of Tampa, FL, Carol and Irvin Sanders of Tampa, FL, Lisa and John Livezy of Pottstown, PA, Brenda and Michael Casey of East Norriton, PA, Angela and Gabe Torres of Lakewood, CA, Laura and Johnny Cardin of Anaheim, CA, and James and Stacy McAlister of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Jenny Mascaro of Collegeville, PA, Alex and Emily Clancy of Arnold MD, 26 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass at Saint Andrew by the Bay, 701 College Parkway, Annapolis MD 21409 on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11AM.

Interment will be October 30, 2012 at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Norristown, PA.

Netta enjoyed spending time at the Arnold Senior Center prior to her becoming too frail to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Netta's name to the Arnold Seniors Inc., 44 Church Rd, Arnold, MD 21012.
