Anthony Festino (Tony), 82, passed away on February 27, 2016 in Arnold, surrounded by family. He is survived by his devoted wife of over sixty years, Phyllis, as well as daughters Diane Schmitt (Daniel) and Toni Ann Schneider (Paul). Tony will be remembered as a loving grandfather to Christopher, Audrey, Amanda, and Emily. He is also survived by siblings Rocky, Nick and Joanne. He was predeceased by his sister Angela.

Tony was born on April 5, 1933 in Potenza, Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1939. He took great pride in hard work and education and graduated from Seton Hall University while working full time and raising a family. Tony was truly a stranger to no one and was considered one of the friendliest and kindest men you would ever meet. He never failed to put his family first and was the very definition of selfless.

Tony worked in many facets of the insurance industry throughout his career and was both respected and loved by co-workers and clients alike. After retiring from the insurance industry, he decided to work part-time for the state of Maryland's Comptroller's Office, where he made many new friendships with his co-workers.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, March 2nd from 3-7 p.m. at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, March 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway in Annapolis. Interment will be held at 2:30 at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. Online condolences may be made at www.barrancofuneralhome.com
