S. Anne Fach, 80, a resident of Severna Park for over 40 years, died on November 27, 2010 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD.

Anne was born on April 13, 1930 in Steubenville, Ohio to Nelson and Emma Fellows, where she was raised. She graduated from Steubenville High School and Ohio Valley School of Nursing.

She was a charter member and past President of Ladies of the Elks of Severna Park; member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church; a 30 year volunteer for Meals on Wheels; Queen Mother of the Scarlet Ladies of the Red Hat Society; and the only woman President of the West Severna Park Community Association.

Mrs. Fach enjoyed Orioles baseball, the Terps football and basketball, watching her grandchildren playing sports, and playing bridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Margaret Dziegieleski; and children, Nickianne Fach-Carr; and George N. Fach, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Nicholas of 58 years; a son, Douglas; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Fach; son -in-law, John Carr; and six grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park.
