Anna C. Piasecki, 92, a longtime resident of Pittston, Pa., died of natural causes May 13 at the Severna Park Center, Genesis ElderCare Network, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Piasecki was born Nov. 4, 1911, and reared in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. A homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Joseph Church in Port Griffith, Pa.
Her husband, Charles W. Piasecki, died 25 years ago.
Surviving are one son, Charles E. Piasecki of Wheaton; three daughters, Charlotte A. Loftus of Severna Park, Elayne M. McHale of Las Vegas and Susan M. Soper of Poolesville; three sisters, Suzanne Fowble of Ellicott City and Irene Maszgay and Elizabeth Austin, both of Catonsville; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Pa.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, Port Griffith. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dallas, Pa. Local arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
