Anna Knight

Anna Knight, 88, a resident of Severna Park for 14 years, died of natural causes Feb. 28 at Genesis Eldercare-Severna Park after a brief illness.

Mrs. Knight was born Oct. 19, 1919, in Baltimore and was raised in Jessup. She lived in Arbutus for 30 years before moving to Severna Park.

She retired from the Social Security Administration, where she worked as a clerk.

She was a member of the Violetville Senior Center near Arbutus.

Mrs. Knight enjoyed knitting and playing Sudoku.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lawrence Knight Sr.

Survivors include one son, Larry Knight of Severna Park; and two grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Baltimore National Cemetery.
