Ann Salus, 68, died at her Severna Park home on August 1, 2026. Born in Harding, PA on April 27, 1958, Ann attended the Wyoming Area School District, graduating in 1976.

She earned her master’s degree from the University of Maryland. She enjoyed working in sales and customer service and she was very good at interacting with others.

Ann was very proud of the many plants all around her home. Some of her favorite things were gardening, thrift store shopping for unique finds, and the companionship of several dogs over the years including Lily, Violet, and new puppy Tulip. Ann had an affinity for wire-haired Fox terriers. She also loved connecting with her family and friends all around the country.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Ann (Antonovitch) Salus and both of her husbands, Peter Sargent and Steve Matthews. She is survived by her stepdaughter Heather (David) Fogelman, grandchildren Josh (Rhiannon) Fogelman and Danielle Fogelman, and great-grandchildren Kierstin, Lillian, Madalynn, Cameron, Addilynn and Everlee all from Fort Dodge, IA
