Ann Mary "Nancy" Evans, 86, a resident of Severna Park, passed away on March 1, 2017 at Genesis of Severna Park.

She was born on June 22, 1930 in Providence, RI to Charles Lawrence Evans and Irene Maloney Evans, and raised in Providence and Baltimore, MD, where she lived for 35 years. Ann received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Notre Dame of Maryland and Master's degree from Loyola University in Baltimore.

Ann was a Classroom teacher for 20 years before becoming a Special Education teacher, then Reading Specialist.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Lawrence Evans and his wife Barbara.

She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Evans McIntire (Neil), Irene Evans Perry, Elin Evans MacStravic (James) and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6405 Orchard Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090, where a Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Holyhood Cemetery, 584 Heath Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467 on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers the family would like people to make donations to a charity of their choice.
