Clegg, Virginia Ann Morrison passed away March 2, 2014. Born to Louis A. and Hazel Newman Morrison on January 25, 1929 in Dalton, GA, she graduated from Dalton High School and attended a branch of the University of Georgia, majoring in journalism. A gifted writer, she was a published writer in her teens and honed her skills working at her hometown newspaper after school. She married John E. (Jack) Clegg following his graduation from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Commission in the U.S. Navy. She became an avid bowler with her husband where they both bowled in the local major leagues as well as serving as certified instructors and board members of the Baltimore Men and Women's Bowling Association. She also enjoyed cooking, the theater, playing bridge, PEO sisterhood, and was an active member of St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal Church and the Robert Burns Society. Her biggest joy was being with her family.

Virginia was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, John E. Clegg, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Forquer (husband, Mark) of Jacksonville, FL; son, John Clegg, Jr. (wife, Valerie) of Stevensville, MD; five grandchildren, Nicole, Christy, and Nick Shuknecht of Jacksonville, FL, Ashley Wingard and John Clegg III of Stevensville, MD; two great grandchildren, Alyssa and Ashton Wingard.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Sunday March 16, 2014 from 1-3:00pm at the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday following the gathering.
