Angela S. Cross, 82, a resident of Severna Park for more than 30 years, died of pneumonia Sept. 11 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's disease
The former Angela Siwinski was born Nov. 20, 1923, and reared in Baltimore, and was married to Peter I. Cross Jr. in 1947. She moved from Towson to Severna Park in the early 1970s. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked for more than 40 years as a medical secretary for Dr. Martin L. Singewald's office on Chase Street in Baltimore, retiring in 1986.
She enjoyed knitting, reading and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one sister, Clementine Lezon of Salisbury; one brother, George Siwinski of Winter Haven, Fla.; a cousin and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville where burial will follow. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com.
