Angela Barranger
Angela Loyola Barranger, 87, of Severna Park, died of natural causes July 14 at Sunrise Assisted Living-Severna Park after a brief illness.
A homemaker, Mrs. Barranger was born Feb. 26, 1919, and reared in Baltimore. She worked as a clerk at the Social Security Administration until retiring in the early 1980s. She was an avid Orioles fan and enjoyed being with her family.
Her first husband, Henry G. Welch, died in 1959. Her second husband, Joseph A. Barranger, died in 1988.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Angela Zerhusen of Millersville and Gemma C. Wright of Nottingham; one son, Joseph H. Welch of Millersville; one sister, Mary Delma Welch of Cardiff; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow in Lorraine Park cemetery, 5608 Dogwood Road, Baltimore. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
