Alice Marie McIntosh of Arnold died at home on November 13, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Leroy McIntosh. Born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on April 22, 1927, daughter of Rev. Ernest and Martha Rhoads. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.

Alice graduated from Marian High School in Virginia and attended Kings College in Delaware for one year after which she commenced her employment which was eventually with Civil Service. She was awarded many times for outstanding performance and retired from the Naval Academy Engineering Division.

She was a longtime member of Woods Memorial Church and served on the Session and sang in the choir. Her interests included foreign travel with her sisters, the SPCA, and golfing with the Fort Meade Ladies.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday November 21, 2014 at 10:45am in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd. Crownsville, MD 21030. Interment to follow.
