Alexander Beaumont, 55, a resident of Severna Park for 30 years, died of heart failure Feb. 21 at his home.
Mr. Beaumont was born Aug. 30, 1953, in Edinburgh, Scotland, to Alex and Isa Beaumont. He was raised in Ferndale. He attended Holy Cross and Holy Trinity High Schools, and graduated from Mount Saint Joseph High School. He attended the University of Maryland in College Park.
He was an auto repairman who owned and operated A&R Body and Frame in Glen Burnie.
He was a dirt late model auto racing enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews go-carting and wrestling, and watching his niece play softball. He also loved his dogs, Lucky and Tyson.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Ann Beaumont, whom he married on May 14, 1973; his parents, Alex and Isa Beaumont; one sister, Michele Cornell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23 at Barranco and Sons P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. All are welcome to attend for a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment is private.
