Albert William (Bill) Olmsted III, 67, passed away peacefully at home in Annapolis on Monday, May 8, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Bill was born in Patuxent River, MD, raised in Norfolk, VA and then moved to Rockville, MD in 1960. He graduated with a B.A. from American University in 1971. He was an accomplished guitar player and teacher, a delicatessen and restaurant owner in Rockville and Ocean City, MD and became a nationally recognized publisher of newsletters and books on handicapping thoroughbred horses. He is survived by his wife, Bronwyn Belling of Annapolis, his cousins Susan Telle in Tennessee, and Carol Hobbs, Janet Pollock, Sam Welch and Debra Moore in Virginia, along with their extended families. Bronwyn welcomes friends to an Open House on Monday, May 15, from 5 to 7 pm, at the home of Gloria Martin-Pressman and Howard Pressman. No flowers, please.
