Albert Listman Jr.
Albert "Buster" Listman Jr., 68, of Pasadena for 46 years, died of heart failure Jan. 9 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Listman was born in Baltimore on June 5, 1938, and was reared in Severna Park. He was an Air Force veteran who served from 1955 to 1959. He also had served for 17 years in the Maryland National Guard 29th Corps Master Division.
Mr. Listman was a retired heavy equipment operator with Potts and Callahan and belonged to Local 37 of the Operating Engineers union.
He was a member of HOG, the Harley Davidson Club in Annapolis, and was a founding member of the Double D Bike Association. He attended North Arundel Church.
The widower of Carole J. Listman, he is survived by one daughter, Pam Listman Allen, and two sons, Rick and Alan Listman, all of Pasadena; two siblings, Robert and Eileen Listman, both of Severna Park; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com.
