Albert B. Cowing, Jr.
Albert Billings Cowing of Bradenton Florida and also a longtime resident of Severna Park, Maryland, died peacefully April 24th in Florida beside family and friends. He was 79.
Al was born September 16, 1932 in New York City, New York. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and an avid Buckeye's fan. After college he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Al's passion was golf and was a member of Chartwell Country Club since 1969, where he served as a two-term club president.
He was preceded in death by his son Bill. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Dorcus, two sons Chris and Todd, daughter in law's Sherri and Lynn and seven grandchildren, Chris, Carrie, Brooks, Ashley, Lauren, TJ and Alexis.
A gathering will be held from 2-3:00pm with a Memorial service to follow at 3:00pm on Saturday May 14, 2011 at the Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to Tidewell Hospice Care-Ellenton House, 4151 37th St E. Palmetto, Fl. 34221
