Alan Charles Bewig, 54, a resident of Riva, MD died on October 2, 2008, at home.
He was born on August 22, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, where he was raised. He lived in Riva, MD for the past nine years.
He worked as a long- time employee of Giant Food.
Al loved going to baseball games, spending time in Ocean City, music, and the Sunday crossword puzzles.
Survivors include sister, Kay Rubin and her husband Barry of Reisterstown, MD; sister, Mary Clapsaddle and her husband Chad of Arnold, MD; brother, Dave Bewig and his wife Naoko of New City, NY; and nephews, Brian and Michael Rubin.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, October 5, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and on Monday, October 6 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens in Baltimore, MD.
