Agnes M. Kunenetz, 82, a 12-year resident of Arnold, and previously of Lutherville and Timonium, died of natural causes on Oct. 23 at FutureCare Chesapeake in Arnold after a brief illness.
Mrs. Kunenetz was born on Sept. 23, 1926 in Baltimore, where she was raised.
She retired after 12 years of service as a secretary/ receptionist for the Maryland State Teachers Association.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church Sisterhood and of the Arnold Senior Center.
She loved reading and crocheting, bowling, was an avid Ravens fan, and enjoyed spending time at Ocean City.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Kunenetz.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie K. Duke of Severna Park and Kim Baicar of Arnold; one son-in-law, Rob Baicar or Arnold; and one granddaughter, Anna Baicar of Arnold.
Family and friends may visit on Sun., Oct. 26 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Barranco & Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park.
A Panikhida Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be offered on Mon., Oct. 27 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 1723 E. Fairmount Ave., Baltimore, MD 21231. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church Sisterhood.
