Adelaide M. Freeman, 78, a resident of Pasadena, passed away on February 22, 2015, at her home, after a brief illness.
She was born on July 28, 1936 in Severna Park, where she was raised, and was a lifelong resident.

Adelaide was a mother and homemaker. She worked as a bookkeeper for Elmer Dunn Accountants and worked at Vince's Deli.

She danced as a child through high school, loved cooking and gardening, and enjoyed her trips to Ocean City, MD. Adelaide worked the Earleigh Heights Carnival every year and enjoyed being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Edgar Strong Freeman III, who died May 30, 2006; her late parents, Otto and Eunice Molter; and her late sister, Nancy Coney.

Adelaide is survived by her son, Peter S. Freeman of Severna Park; three daughters, Robin A. Church of Crownsville, Phyllis M. Norton of Pasadena, and Gail L. Guthrie of Pasadena; and ten grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 9:00 am-10:30 am at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
