Aaron Christopher Alt, age 29, crossed over peacefully at home after an extended illness, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Aaron was born on January 29, 1990 in Ft. Campbell, KY to Mark Alt and Shelly Howell Alt and was brother and best friend to Kyle Alt.
Aaron is also survived by his puppy Autumn, beloved grandparents Richard and Linda Howell, Helen and Joe Landrum and Donald Alt, Aunts Sherry Howell and Rachelle Alt, Uncles John & Tim Alt and John and Jason Dettman, Bestie Heather Augustine, cousins Chelsey, Joshua and Chrissy Boegel and Jimmy, Michael, Austin and Avery Alt. Aaron was also preceded in death and now in the arms of his beloved granny Phyllis Sessions.
Aaron was born into a military family and lived in Clarksville, TN, Ft. Carson, CO, Budingen, Germany, Severna Park, MD and was residing in Annapolis, MD upon his passing. He graduated from Severna Park High School and studied sound engineering at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City, NY.
Aaron's passion for flying began at the young age of 15 as a student pilot in Smithfield, NC in March 2006. Flying was Aaron's most favorite thing to do beyond spending time with family and friends. Being in the sky gave him a sense of peace, pride and freedom unlike anything else and filled his soul with joy.
Aaron was also the drummer for the band "Have Mercy" and was incredibly proud of the accomplishments and their success and recording contract.
His career as a fusion gastronomy chef began many years ago in Baltimore, MD He enjoyed making people smile as he explored and served different flavor combinations, creating amazing, delectable and beautiful dishes.
But above all, Aaron most loved spending time with his family, friends and most loved his little Autumn, his puppy, aka "Piggy." Aaron loved big and held a special place in his heart for each and every person in his life. Please remember his infectious smile and beautiful soul and carry his love with you always.

Friends may visit on Monday March 18, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the Barranco & Sons,P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at 1:00pm.
