Anna Virginia Koritzer, 83, of Arnold, MD died March 16, 2011 at George
Washington University Hospital surrounded by family.

Born March 24, 1928 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Augusta and Harry Burke Arnold and sister to the late Norman Talbot Arnold. Mrs. Koritzer grew up in South Baltimore & attended local schools. She was the homemaker & caretaker of her family. Known to most as Mom, Grandmom & Ginny, she would light up a room with her optimism and cheerfulness. She was someone who always had a smile on her face & was often described as Kind, Giving & Loving to all. She lived for her family.


Mrs. Koritzer is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Dr. Richard T.
Koritzer; her four children, Jacauelin K. Keleman, Mary Ellen Mullens, Richard T. Koritzer Jr., and James A. Koritzer; her four grandchildren, Robert Karn, Rebecca Mattison, Joseph Keleman, and Michael Karn, as well as, her four great grandchildren, Chelsea Blackburn, Brittni Blackburn, Anthony Karn, and Tyler Karn.

Friends may call at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, on Monday March 21, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146 on Tuesday March 22, 2011 at 10a.m. Interment will be at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD following the mass.
