William Curtis Rice, a longtime resident of Severn Maryland, passed away on October 26, 2021. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut on July 7, 1953 to his parents William and Beverly Rice and was raised on Long Island, New York. He lived in Arnold Maryland before spending the last 16 years in Severn, Maryland. William enjoyed cooking, gardening, and reading.

William was preceded in death by his father William F Rice. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Helene Rice (nee Maydag) of Severn MD; his mother Beverly (nee Augur) Rice; his daughter Lynne (nee Rice) Hiemer of The Woodlands TX, her husband Timothy, and their three children William, Nora and Ethan; his daughter Kathryn (nee Rice) Toskov of Arnold MD, and her husband Martin, and their children Nicholas, Owen, and Colin.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 5-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD, 21146. Interment is private.
